Fresno County CA Government Substance Use Disorder Services. Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Services is responsible for administering the County’s alcohol and drug programs. The goal is to support appropriate treatment services to reduce or eliminate alcohol and other drug-related barriers to ongoing health, well-being, and economic independence of individuals, families, and communities. SUD Services contracts with over 30 community-based organizations providing alcohol and drug intervention, treatment, and recovery services throughout the County of Fresno. These services are available to any Fresno County resident either through self-referral or referral by a community agency.

Fresno New connections, formerly ADAC, has been serving our community since 1975. Fresno New Connections is one of the premier providers of Alcohol and Other Drug treatment. For 32 years, the agency has provided comprehensive community based, culturally sensitive care. Promesa Behavioral Health Fresno County CA Outpatient Drug Free (ODF) program
Promesa Behavioral Health operates an ASAM 1.0 Outpatient Drug Free (ODF) program. This includes outpatient alcohol and/or other drug services and drug Medi-Cal outpatient services. “Outpatient drug free treatment services” means an outpatient service directed at stabilizing and rehabilitating individuals with substance use disorder diagnoses. Services are provided if you meet medical necessity and the level of care for outpatient. Promesa delivers services designed to initiate, support and enhance recovery. Evidenced Based Practices are provided such as, Motivational Interviewing, Relapse Prevention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Treatment and Psychoeducation. Our goal is to assist you on your road to recovery and to promote growth, wellness and abstinence from the use of alcohol or drugs to maintain sobriety.

WestCare California Fresno County CA Programs Treating Substance Use WestCare, a family of tax-exempt nonprofit organizations, provides a wide spectrum of health and human services in both residential and outpatient environments. Their services include substance abuse and addiction treatment, homeless and runaway shelters, domestic violence treatment and prevention, and mental health programs. These services are available to adults, children, adolescents, and families; we specialize in helping people traditionally considered difficult to treat, such as those who are indigent, have multiple disorders, or are involved with the criminal justice system. From outpatient and residential programs treating substance use and mental health disorders, to shelters providing services to those with HIV/AIDS, domestic violence and homelessness, to programs within the criminal justice system, to programs interfacing with and/or incorporating primary care services, WestCare’s nearly five decades of growth has been predicated on meeting the need or filling the gap where real people need real help.
