SHIELDS Genesis Program serves adult parenting women with children 0-18 who have a short or moderate-term history of substance abuse. Genesis provides services in both English and Spanish. Both outpatient and intensive outpatient services are available. Children with mothers enrolled in Genesis can participate in our Child Development Center or Heros and Sheros. SHIELDS ARK Program serves adults with substance use disorders. Participants are part of the general community, General Relief (GR), AB 109 re-entry, or Drug Court programs.
