Calaveras County CA Government Addiction Recovery Resources The mission of Behavioral Health Services is to empower consumers and their families to create more satisfying, fulfilling, and productive lives by supporting wellness, recovery and hope. The Calaveras County Outpatient Substance Use Services Program is an Outpatient Drug-Free program that is designed to assist participants to develop and use recovery skills while living in the real world environment. Calaveras County residents with Medi-cal coverage will have zero liability for outpatient services, non Medi-cal Calaveras residents will be charged fee for service based on verified income. Admission preference given to pregnant and/or IV drug users. Substance Use Outreach and Prevention activities are funded by a mandatory 20% set-aside of the county’s share of the Federal Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (SAPT) Block Grant funds, as well as a small allotment of funds from the Friday Night Live Partnership. The County’s Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) prevention plan was originally written in 2007 and it is updated annually.
